It is a pleasure to write a testimonial for Renovation Builders. Zane is accompanied by a team of competent and professional staff, in particular Christine as project manager, and Brad and Ravi, the two builders who tackled the project. Zane and his teams’ attention to detail, relaxed approachable and easy-going manner helped me achieve my goal of updating and bringing my more than 100 year old bungalow into the 21st century.
I would highly recommend Renovation Builders to anyone wishing to engage a builder. The workmanship was of a high standard and of a very good quality. The communication was effective and I was always kept well informed throughout the entire project.
The renovation was designed by Buildology who have an excellent ongoing working relationship with Renovation Builders and it meant that I could step away from any problem areas that arose, whilst Zane and his team sorted out the paperwork and council meetings in a timely manner. Brad and Ravi, were always courteous, kind and thoughtful. Brad went out of his way to help me with small minor jobs that were beyond his scope of work such as helping me install a pressed metal tin onto a new wall and fix up my old dining room table. Brad did this happily and positively.
I would definitely look at using Renovation Builders again.

I would highly recommend Zane and his builders (Brad, Clement & Troy). They built a kitchen extension, and added onto one room, changing it to an ensuite. They were scheduled to be here for 4 months, and kept to both their schedule and budget. The builders turned up every day on time and worked hard all day. I had two young boys, and the builders worked around them, letting them watch while keeping the building site safe.
Zane responded quickly to any questions I had, and met with me most days on site to talk through any issues. Zane worked very closely with the Buildology Architectural Designers, clarifying and making any changes that were necessary.
Zane and the builders, prided themselves on attention to detail. Our house is a built on 1920’s cottage, so he took great effort to match all the architraves and window sills with what was existing.
Zane has a great knowledge of local suppliers and contacts, who helped me in choosing fixtures and fittings. I was provided with clear timelines of when I needed to have made choices about fixtures, such as tiles and bathroom white ware etc, and the builders accepted deliveries on site.
I was able to continue part time work, manage the family and have regular discussions with Zane and his builders. We had no hesitation in leaving the workmen at home during the day, and even left them to complete the last week whilst we went on holiday.
Workmanship of the builders was to a very high standard. Great interaction with tradies, who turned up to site, in a timely manner.
I would use them again myself, and strongly recommend them to friends and other customers

Renovation Builders undertook a large renovation (a complete gutting of our house interior and rebuilding an outside wrap around deck) of our home in 2017. The key to a successful and pain free renovation lies squarely in getting the right people to do the job. Zane’s team is highly skilled, efficient and methodical which allowed us to live in for all, but the last part of the project.
In terms of the finance side of things, we received an invoice every 2 weeks for labor, materials and sub trade invoices. This allowed us to monitor our cash flow and costs at every step of the job. Zane and Christine both communicate well, the upcoming program of work, time frames and the stages of the build before they occur.
We would highly recommend Renovation Builders to anyone considering embarking on a building project.
